“Request Contract” Update Helps Unlock More Express Contract Opportunities

We’re making a change to your Lendbuzz Dealer Portal that will save you time and help more deals qualify for Express Contract by updating when the “Request Contract” button becomes available on both the App List and Deal Structure pages.

Previously, if no other docs were required, the button appeared once an ID was uploaded. It will now appear only after the ID is verified (if no other docs are required).

This ensures that you're not requesting contracts too early—and missing out on Express Contract eligibility in the process.

Why this is Important

• Many deals become Express Contract-eligible within a couple of minutes of requesting a contract—but by then, it’s too late.
• Express Contract-eligible deals can go from submission to app approval to delivered DocuSign contract in under 3 minutes. They are available 24/7, and they provide you with instant notifications. 
• In most cases, ID verification should take a couple of minutes.

What to do Differently

To help more deals qualify for the Express Contract and avoid delays:

1. Advise your borrowers to upload their ID as soon as possible. Suggested ID documents include:
   
   
   1. US Driver’s License
   2. Passport
   3. Matricula Consular Card
   4. Green Card
   5. US Visa

2. Have them prepare any additional docs early, such as:
   ‍
   
   1. SSN Card
   2. Business Ownership Document (for business owners)
   3. I-20 / DS-2019 (for international students)
   4. Visa / I-94 (may be requested)
